It is definitely fast, but I think that I was expecting even more. For those of you with the blower, did it take a while to tune everything for maximum output?
At this point, I think that there is still more power lurking under the hood that I haven't tapped yet. I have the cam gears installed, but not adjusted yet (hopefully dynoing in a week or so). And, as I mentioned on a different post, I will probably get a test pipe.
I already have: 8psi, BTM, jackson fuel pump, Jun 10.5lb flywheel, type-R LSD (AWESOME diff).
My question is will adjusting the cam gears and installing a test pipe make a noticable difference? And does the blower belt take a while to stop stretching?
Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Intake, exhaust, high flow cat, cam gears with headers and you'll pick up a a good amount more.
If you don't have an aftermarket intake and exhaust with the 8psi pulley, you could be missing 20 hp.

Burns, where did you purchase the 8psi pulley and how much did it cost? Thanks.

Then I would get cam gears and tune the car, this will make a huge difference. You can also tune fuel too, and consider a BTM or J&S.

I found out I was spoiled because my car runs 12-14 degrees timing with the blower and no J&S. I was helping y0ssa with some troubleshooting a week or so ago and we put timing back to 10 and my car felt like a slug to me. It's at 12 now but it's not at what it was before. I think anyone who can't do this should get a J$S unit right away. The throttle response is a HUGE difference when you're driving. To me it feels like a horrible lag before I get boost. My suggestion would be first to get the J&S to make your tuning safer. Then head the way Lun is telling you to go. The power isn't Turbo but it should make you chuckle as you pass up most cars.

zip: I got my pulley from a shop called Next Level in Birmingham AL. E-mail me and I can give you the number and the name of the guy to talk to. He is super nice.
Silvino: Where did you get the J&S? I have never seen it for sale.
BTW, I think that at least part of the problem is that the belt is slipping. I don't hear it slipping except at high rpms, but it seems to catch sometimes and give me more boost (no meter yet). Also, it actually seems to pull harder down low than in the mid-range, as if it isn't slipping until a certain rpm level.
Thanks for the help.
One other thing. I already have the BTM. My timing is set at 10 degrees BTDC and the BTM is set to retard 1.5 degrees per lb of boost. I get ping at 1 degree.
Can I use the BTM and the J&S at the same time?

OOOOHHH!!
With the BTM you should have the timing set at 16, with 1 degree per boost (maybe more). Make sure you have the new pressure switch (it's bigger than the old one and comes on a 1psi, rather than somewhere between 1 and 3 or so), this might clean up your pinging.
Check the alternator belt too, make sure it's tight, it should be pretty tight, and the SC belt too.
Yes you can use the J&S with the BTM. Use the J&S then watch the monitor to see where it is retarding the timing then mildly adjust it with the BTM.

When I get to work, I'll post the link for you. I'll edit this message with the proper link the J&S unit. I think I actually have TWO links to get the unit from.
